LiberCube turns the Rubik’s Cube into a glowing puzzle game that guides you from total beginner to full solve in 3–6 hours, with zero rote memorization, 85 levels, 54 RGB LEDs, and a free app with no subscription.
You bought a Rubik's Cube, but you never got past the first layer. 500 million cubes have been sold, but fewer than 6% of owners ever solved one.
The reason isn't intelligence. It's the method.
Every guide asks you to memorize formulas and bounce your eyes between a phone and the cube.
LiberCube throws that out.
A total beginner reaches their first full, unassisted solve in 3 to 6 hours - zero formulas memorized.

Every other smart cube is a regular cube with a tutorial app. You twist, the phone teaches. Your eyes ping-pong between the two until you give up.
LiberCube flips it. 54 individually controllable RGB LEDs sit behind every square. The app sends lights to the cube. The cube tells you what to do.
Pair it once in the app, then put the phone down. Everything you need is glowing in your hands.
The whole learning system runs on four kinds of light. Nothing to read, nothing to memorize.

LiberCube isn't a tutorial. It's a game with about 85 levels across 6 stages: edge navigation, corner orientation, the Keyhole moment, last-layer pattern recognition, the "faith leap," and the finale.
Each level is a small puzzle the cube lights up for you. You figure out the move. The cube tells you if you got it. 75% of solving is self-discovered this way. The final boss is L70 "Solo." A fully scrambled cube. Zero hints. Just you solving it like a traditional Rubik's Cube.

A handful of sequences in any Rubik's solve can't be self-discovered. They have to be drilled. Everyone else hands you a formula. LiberCube hands you music.
The Rhythm Dojo turns each one into a rhythm mini-game between stages: Listen, Follow, Sync, Solo, Perform. You learn the move the way you learn a chorus, by repeating it until it lives in your hands. Hit Grade B+ and the next stage unlocks.

Most smart cubes go quiet the moment you can solve. LiberCube turns up. The 1v1 Ranked Arena matches you online, shows the same scramble on both cubes via LEDs, and tracks your climb from Bronze to Diamond. Practice Mode lights up a random scramble with one tap and starts the timer on your first move. The Formula Library covers LBL, CFOP, ZB, and more, with a one-tap reset between reps. Achievements unlock exclusive LED color schemes.

Strip away the lights, and you're holding a real 56mm competition-standard 3×3. Magnetic positioning, tactile click, ABS shell, about 105g in the hand. It's the same feel speedcubers expect on a competition mat.
Inside: 36 Hall Effect sensors (6 per face) detect every twist without contact. Theoretically unlimited lifespan. A 6-axis IMU tracks orientation. Bluetooth 5.4 handles the LED traffic in under 0.1 seconds. USB-C charges in about 1.5 hours for 5 to 6 hours of play.
Pair your cube with the free companion app in about 30 seconds. From there, the phone goes back in your pocket and the cube does the teaching.

Pair with the free app to choose your mode and start playing.

Follow the cube’s lights to know what to move, solve, or correct.

Clear levels through gameplay to reach your first full solo solve.
