Two precision sound pucks mount inside the lid and vibrate the plastic surface to move air and produce sound. The body of the case acts as a speaker enclosure to provide surprising fidelity and rich, impactful bass. The larger the compatible case, the larger the acoustic surface, the bigger the sound.
